Craniosacral Therapy (CST)
Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on, biodynamic therapy that uses very light touch to release tension and restrictions within the body’s connective tissues (fascia) and the craniosacral system — the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord. This subtle, yet profound approach supports the body’s innate ability to restore balance, improve fluid movement, and promote deep relaxation.
CST offers support for the body and mind, helping with everything from stress and anxiety to chronic pain, migraines, sleep issues, digestive problems, and trauma recovery. By encouraging the nervous system to reset, CST promotes natural healing and improved overall function. Safe, non-invasive, and suitable for all, CST can benefit adults, children, babies, and even animals, helping everyone feel more balanced, relaxed, and well.
During a CST session, your practitioner will begin by asking you a few questions to understand your current needs. You will then be guided to lie down on the CST table, or sit comfortably in a chair, fully clothed. The practitioner will ensure you feel safe and at ease before placing their hands – using a very gentle light touch – on your feet or other specific craniosacral therapy holds.
Sessions are deeply relaxing and tailored to your unique needs. Whether you’re seeking relief from specific symptoms or simply want to enhance your sense of wellbeing, CST can be a gentle and effective complement to your overall self-care.
