Cosmetic Acupuncture & Aesthetics

Cosmetic acupuncture

Cosmetic Acupuncture, known as Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, is a natural way to gracefully slow down the ageing process. This ancient therapy was practised in China hundreds of years ago and was mainly used by wealthy Empresses and Emperors. It is a holistic treatment and involves using very tiny acupuncture needles on the face and body. Today we understand how facial acupuncture works: The needles create micro injuries which stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, helping with small lines and wrinkles as well as increasing micro circulation in the skin.

Micro-needling

Medical micro-needling

Medical Micro-needling is also known as Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT). It is simple, with little downtime for the patient. It rejuvenates the skin and produces an instant glow. How it works: small needles are inserted very rapidly into the skin, causing micro injuries, which stimulate new collagen and elastin production and increase skin turnover. Medical Micro-needling:

  • minimises the appearance of small lines and wrinkles
  • helps with uneven tone and pigmentation
  • minimises pores
  • tightens skin
  • helps to smooth acne scars

Results naturally vary but can be visible after 2-4 sessions. However your skin will glow after 1 session.

The highest quality cocktail of active substances (by Mesoestetics) are used during the procedure, which penetrate deeper into the epidermis/dermis. The procedure is finished with a Crystal Fiber Mask containing hyaluronic acid and seaweed extract.

Wrinkle reduction

Botulinum toxin injections, known as Botox®, have been used safely for many years worldwide. Botox® cosmetic injections are the world’s most popular non-surgical treatment and most effective wrinkle relaxing treatment. In UK there are 3 types of Botulinum licensed for clinical use (Botox®, Bocouture® and Azzalure®). All are prescription-only medicines and can be administered after a consultation with registered medical practitioners.
