Eating a healthy, balanced diet and increasing your activity levels is sensible advice, but this does not always help those who are already overweight. Nor has it stopped the overall increase in weight throughout the population. The latest government figures show that over half the adults in the UK are now classified as overweight, whilst nearly a fifth are classified as obese. Most people need a more practical level of help and support.

The Cambridge Diet has been used successfully for more than 20 years by more than 20 million people worldwide. The diet is used as the foundation for a range of programmes at different calorie levels. The Cambridge diet Sole Source Programmes provide the full range of vitamins and minerals required every day in a formula which is very low calorie and available as soups, shakes and bars.

There are six steps in the Cambridge Health & Weight Plan. Your counsellor will advise you at which step to start. Once you have reached your desired weight you will gradually move up step by step to stabilize and then maintain your weight.

Cambridge Health & Weight Plan has been offering a solution since 1984, incorporating the three key ingredients which make the difference.

A flexible range of programmes for weight management
Nutritionally balanced formula food
Support and motivation from an accredited Cambridge Counsellor

Once you have decided to help yourself to be healthy, happy and feel good, you will have a session with your counsellor who will take notes, weigh you, take your BMI and understand you as an individual. The relationship with your counsellor makes a huge difference to your success. You will then opt for the most appropriate programme to best suit your needs and you will be followed up regularly.

“Well, as you know I am nearly 3 weeks in and already lost over a stone! But more than loosing the weight, I am feeling fantastic. and far more healthy and energetic than I can remember for years!

I have had lots of positive comments from people not only about my physical appearance, but also about my renewed vice for life!

Here’s looking forward to the next stone coming off!!” ~ Simon

“I started the Cambridge Diet 15 months ago. This was after meeting my friend Dai who I had not seen for 3 years. I was shocked to see him. He looked great, healthy and slim. I asked him how he did it. He said ” easy Susan, I did the Cambridge , why don’t you try it?” By the way, Dai is 86 years old.

I thought if he can I can. After 35 years of being overweight and fed up of being ‘fat’, I decided to give it a try. I’ve tried every diet in the book and the ones that worked, I just ended up putting it all back on and more besides. My legs ached and my hip was painful when I walked, and its been worse since I was 65.

So I went on Cambridge and with the help of a lovely Consultant, it was true, it was easy. I couldn’t believe how lovely the food was. I enjoyed the porridges & soups and chocolate bars.

In 3 months I was down to my goal weight after losing 3 stone 10lds.

I loved the fact that I didn’t feel hungry! I even took my Cambridge to the cinema and went every night for a week when I started to get out of the bad habits I had developed!

Since then I have stayed the same weight. I haven’t yo-yoed and I have enjoyed an active social life with dinners out/parties and holidays.

I just use Cambridge now and again to pull myself back if I feel I’ve put a couple of pounds on. Nothing could be easier!

Thanks to all at Cambridge!”
